Website Administrator needed for one of the largest professional female award winning websites in the UK and India. Established in 2008. Growing at a fast pace with further domains being deployed globally.

Based in our Rayleigh, Essex offices and working with various members of the company, you will be exposed to a fast moving developing online business with some of the most influential women in the UK. Training will be provided throughout the tenure. These roles are varied, as each day will offer new challenges to all.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small and innovative team of web admins, journalists, business development and operations managements. You will be the sort of individual who has a great attitude, a willingness to learn and who is not afraid to put their ideas forward. We are a all hand to pumps kind of organisation, which means the ideal candidate has to have a “Can do” attitude and not be afraid to help others. Role suited for an aspiring techy, social media or online content interested individual who wants to grow their skillset


Web Administrator Job Purpose:


Maintains Website content and backend functions for multiple websites and be responsive to market trends and changes. Work closely on projects and ideas to ‘go to market’ on time.


Web Administrator Job Duties:




  • Upload and proofing of written content onto websites
  • Re-sizing of images and inclusion on websites
  • Production of weekly performance reports from various tools
  • Provide online chat and responses to various web enquiries
  • Modify and adapt search engine optimisation settings
  • Work with developers, marketing manager and other members of staff to ensure the right content is being published and to an agreed timetable
  • Provide and deliver online research to capture popular news, current affairs and in-depth knowledge on website related subject matter
  • Send out bulletins to various subscribers of websites
  • Liaise with various clients on featured content and projects relating to our websites
  • Work with the team on promotions whether social media or direct
  • Come up with ideas to improve the usability and performance
  • Management of daily reports and web statistics
  • Daily routine housekeeping of websites



  • Attend and assist on our conferences and events (overtime available)
  • Audio and video editing for publishing on Websites and social media
  • Capture photos at events or for specific news items






  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CMS Tools (Wordpress)
  • Good knowledge of Social Media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin)
  • Knowledge and experience working with Apple Mac operating systems (not technical)
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • High level of written English and grammar
  • Proof reading and eye for detail
  • Image editing (Photoshop, Paintshop) and Video editing packages.




  • Ability to write articles on various topics and create copy with journalism experience
  • Unix Server (cPanel/WHM) administration
  • PHP and CSS editing


We are offering a competitive salary (£14,500-£17,000 per annum) plus holiday, overtime, flexibility and the opportunity to grow for the right candidate and experience.
