Why is our Security Tooling team the next step for you?

Our Security Tooling team sits within Worldpay I&O (Infrastructure & Operations) Enterprise Tools & Utilities. This is a technical lead role and you will be heading up a small team of Security Tooling Specialists, managing the live support and maintaining the security components for Worldpay, across a wide range of security technologies.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Tools & Utilities, you will manage the activities of an on-shore and off-shore team, with the possibility of an element of Managed Service deliverables from external suppliers. Your responsibilities will include resource and workflow management including; utilisation, tracking and reporting of resources and the effective management of the Security Tools team's time against the overall Infrastructure & Operations prioritised demand. Providing technical leadership within the Security Tools arena across a range of technical disciplines is a key part of the role.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

You will ensure that live support capabilities, processes and procedures are in place that support the business and regulatory requirements and that drive simplification across Worldpay technology. You will be responsible for implementing support solutions through a deep understanding of security technologies such as:


•    Vormetric Data Security Manager v5.23 and v5.30


•    Symantec  Data Centre Security (DCS)


•    TPAM


•    A wide range of additional EST products such as:


•    F5 Web Application Firewall (WAF) & Application Security Manager (ASM)


•    Networks - IDS/IPS, DDOS, Firewalls, NTP


•    PKI, Storage & File encryption, TLS/SSL, FIM, Log Management


•    Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP)


•    Microsoft Certification Authority (CA)


•    Hardware Security Model (HSM) (Safenet / Thales / Thales nShield Edge) 


•    Oracle IAM (Provisioning Elements) 


•    Websense Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Websense Email, Websense Web

You will liaise with the relevant technology domains, the business and external suppliers to assist in the delivery and integration of components (application and infrastructure) into the final security solution. You will be the trusted source of security and infrastructure expertise and pro-actively provide support leadership and guidance to projects, 3rd party partners and infrastructure domains during the planning and project delivery lifecycle. You will contribute to infrastructure product lifecycle activities including roadmap, release management and buy/hold/sell activities. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting and resolving issues using documented and structured processes, as well as providing 3rd Line Support for all Enterprise Security Tools services within production and pre-production environments. 

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Significant experience in administration, support and maintenance of Enterprise Security Tools components in a high availability production environment, including Vormetric Data Security Manager, Symantec Data Centre Security (DCS) and TPAM. You will be experienced in third line support for business critical production systems, as well as experienced in administering Linux and Windows hosted monitoring and alerting implementations in a secure, virtualised environment. 

You will be able to build sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals in the business and IT teams from executive management through to technical levels. Strong analytical skills are important, as well as service management ethos and a disciplined approach to management of support tasks. ITIL experience and a background in a financial institution with regulatory constraints, such as PCI DSS compliance are advantageous.
