Bromium are looking for a bilingual, client focussed Senior Customer Support Engineer to join their UK based Customer Support team.  Their Customer Support team are committed to providing excellent technical support for Bromium customers and partners.  You will have the opportunity to learn new skills from your co-workers as well as draw upon your own existing information technology experience in order resolve customer technical questions thoroughly and in a timely manner.

You will collaborate with various teams to roll out product upgrades, patches and help troubleshoot desktop configurations and policy related issues that may impact the correct operation of Bromium products.


Their ideal candidate will have a passion for customer satisfaction and excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.  You’ll work well within a team but are also able to work through hard problems independently and have a self-motivated enthusiasm for continuous learning.


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for customer-facing support of POC and existing customers

  • Serve as a Bromium expert educating customers on best practices

  • Deliver ad hoc training to customers as needed

  • Identify and champion product enhancement requests and product support issues

  • Pro-actively identify and fix gaps in process and procedure relating to support team duties


Job Requirements: 

  • Fluent in German and English languages, both spoken and written word

  • Proven experience in Technical or Customer Support roles

  • Prior experience troubleshooting and maintaining Windows Operating systems

  • Knowledge of networking, network security and/or virtualization technology

  • Understanding of endpoint security products

  • Comfortable when handling customer escalations

  • Prior experience managing relationships with senior customer/vendor contacts 


The following skills and attributes are a plus: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent

  • Knowledge with enterprise endpoint management tools (SCCM)

  • Familiar with Microsoft System internals suite

  • Familiar with browser and network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Fiddler)
